As a proud supporter of Move For Hunger, we would like to take a minute of your time and ask that you read about this wonderful cause. Parma Movers, Inc. teamed up with Move For Hunger in November 2013 and has continued to work together since. To date, combined with our sister company, The Lincoln Moving & Storage Co., we have been able to deliver 1,718 pounds of food, which is enough to provide 1,432 meals to those in need! When you are moving it’s a great time to clean out your pantry. We provide you with a few Move For Hunger boxes for your pantry clean out. On moving day we bring those boxes of food back to our warehouse, and then once a month make a trip to a local food bank. If you simply want to clean out your pantry and donate any time at all, that is great also. We always have a Move For Hunger box in our office, and we are always collecting donations! Food is needed at all times of year, not just the holidays!
Fact: More than 2 million people in Ohio live on incomes that put them at risk of hunger. Thirty-three percent of those in need are children. With times getting tighter these numbers are dramatically increasing. Thousands in our community need your help.
As you are aware, many people throw out a good deal of “stuff” when they move. Unfortunately a lot of this “stuff” is food that can be delivered to a family in need. That’s why Parma Movers, Inc. has teamed up with Move For Hunger to support local food banks.
Please set aside any unopened, non-perishable food items before your move and Parma Movers, Inc. will deliver the food to local food banks.
Move For Hunger is a non-profit organization that works with the relocation industry to support the efforts of local food banks. Your donations will directly impact families living right here in the Cleveland area. Parma Movers, Inc. is grateful for your business and truly thankful for your generosity.
